Miss Latina US Marice Morales
Marice Morales was crowned Miss Latina US 2011 in Punta Cana, becoming the fourth
from the state of Utah to accomplish this in the past 10 years.
A graduate of Salt Lake Community College with an Associate"s Degree, she is
currently a Public Relations Major at the University of Utah, where she expects to
complete her Bachelor's Degree next year. Her studies there have already earned her
recognition on the 2010 Dean's List.
Originally from Trujillo, Peru, this 24-year-old exotic beauty has been living in Utah
since the age of 12 and is fluent in both the English and Spanish languages. She is
also athletic, enjoying the sports of basketball and volleyball that she continues to play
to this day, and since elementary school has been a Basketball Captain.
Marice also is involved in giving back to her community as a member of LULAC and
several other non-profit organizations.
The new Miss Latina US is a true role-model for other young Latinas with her dedication
to bettering herself through work and education. It all came together for her the night
of May 28th, as the pageant judges rewarded her efforts and talents by making her a
National titleholder.
