Awards at its SmartMarketing conference in New Orleans. The awards honor the
top marketing, public relations, and advertising efforts for the Dairy Industry.
This year's competition, co-sponsored by Dairy Field Magazine, featured more
than 200 entries ranging from website design to new product packaging.
The award for the "Best Overall Ethnic Marketing Campaign" was presented
to Meadow Gold Dairy of Utah for its program that used Miss Latina US as its
spokesperson to promote Meadow Gold products in print ads, TV ads, on
coupons and at public appearances. As a result of the campaign, Meadow Gold
has increased sales and brand awareness among the Hispanic population for
its entire product line.
Sponsorship of the Miss Latina US national and state pageants and their winners offers
excellent market opportunity and exposure. Hispanics have a high regard for pageant
queens and the prestigious image of Miss Latina US titleholders make them especially
attractive to this market -- both in English and Spanish.
Promotional opportunities can
include publicity campaigns,
spokesperson and product/
services endorsements,
personal appearances at
public functions, events and
company premises, brand
exposure at pageant events,
and much more.
